Your Role

As a Flight TIG Welder Fabricator II, you’ll take on critical responsibilities in building and welding fluid systems that drive our aerospace innovations. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers to deliver precise and high-quality assemblies vital to mission success.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute TIG welding and fabricate systems for hydraulic, pneumatic, and propellant applications.
• Perform welding that meets x-ray inspection quality.
• Clean hardware using advanced methods like ultrasonic, chemical, and precision techniques.
• Ensure safe handling of pressurized or hazardous systems during operations.
• Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic testing to validate system performance.
• Inspect and refine welds using precision tools for quality assurance.
  What You Bring

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of TIG welding experience (MicroTIG is a bonus).
• Familiarity with orbital welding and AWS D17.1 standards.
• Expertise in reading aerospace 2D/3D drawings.
• Skilled with fabrication tools and borescope inspections.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in tube bending, flaring, and fittings.
• Certification in orbital welding techniques.
• Knowledge of fluid systems (GN2, GHe, hydraulics, cryogenics).
• Background in aerospace-grade cleaning and fabrication standards.
